The Tennessee Titans made a couple of roster tweaks on Tuesday, shoring up their depth at two positions. The team announced they have signed cornerback Shemar Bartholomew to the practice squad, while also re-signing wide receiver Xavier Restrepo to the unit.

Bartholomew, who went undrafted out of Southern Miss, is getting another shot at the NFL level. He spent time with the Carolina Panthers earlier this year but was let go during final cuts. At six feet tall and around 190 pounds, he brings decent size to the cornerback room. Restrepo is a familiar name for those who followed the Titans' offseason. The former Miami standout signed with the team as a priority free agent after the draft. He impressed during training camp with his route running and reliable hands, but the numbers game at receiver worked against him. He was waived during roster cutdowns in late August. Now he is back on the practice squad, where he can continue to develop and stay ready if the team needs an extra pass catcher.
