Police in Santa Ana, California are investigating the theft of nearly $1 million worth of rare Pokemon and sports cards from a FedEx truck. The truck was parked near a business in the area when the cards were taken, according to authorities.

The stolen collection included high-value Pokemon cards and sports trading cards, which have surged in value in recent years as collectors and investors compete for rare finds. Investigators have not released details about how the theft was carried out or whether any suspects have been identified.

The case highlights growing concerns about the security of valuable trading cards as they move through shipping networks. Cards worth hundreds of thousands of dollars are increasingly common, and thefts targeting collectibles in transit have drawn more attention from law enforcement.

Police are asking anyone with information about the theft to come forward as the investigation continues. No arrests have been announced so far, and authorities have not said whether the cards have been recovered.
