After all the star-studded additions, the Philadelphia 76ers have garnered the attention of everyone in the NBA. The roster overhaul has turned the franchise into one of the most talked about teams in the league, and opposing front offices are clearly circling dates on the calendar. Head coach Nick Nurse is not shying away from that reality. Instead, he is leaning into it.

Nurse addressed the heightened expectations surrounding his team and made it clear that the Sixers welcome the challenge. He pointed out that being hunted by the rest of the league is a sign of respect, but it also demands a certain level of focus and discipline every single night. According to Nurse, teams will bring their best effort when they face Philadelphia, and his group must be prepared for that intensity from the opening tip.

The coach stressed that talent alone will not carry the team through the grind of an 82 game season. Chemistry, defensive accountability, and consistent execution will decide whether the Sixers live up to the hype. Nurse wants his players to understand that the target on their back grows with every headline and every prediction.

For a franchise with championship aspirations, that pressure is part of the deal. Nurse is sending a simple message to the rest of the league: the 76ers know what is coming, and they intend to be ready for it.
