Lynx win 10 in a row, Savannah Bananas taking over Target Field and other Minnesota sports news

The Minnesota Lynx kept rolling on Tuesday night, taking down the Indiana Fever 108-100 for their tenth straight victory. That is the longest winning streak for the franchise since 2016, and it came with some serious offensive firepower. Napheesa Collier led the way again, but the whole lineup seemed to click, especially in the fourth quarter when they needed to hold off a Fever push. The win solidifies Minnesota's spot near the top of the league standings, and the team is starting to look like a real contender heading into the second half of the season.

Elsewhere in Minnesota sports, the Savannah Bananas are bringing their brand of baseball chaos to Target Field. The exhibition team, known for its dance routines, trick plays, and fan-first antics, will play a couple of shows at the Twins' home park later this summer. It is not a traditional game, and that is the point. The Bananas have turned baseball into a traveling spectacle, and tickets are expected to go fast. For Twins fans, it is a chance to see the ballpark in a completely different light, with no scoreboard pressure and plenty of silliness.

In other news, the Wild are quietly working through their offseason roster moves, and the Gophers football team is gearing up for fall camp. But for now, the Lynx are the hottest ticket in town, and the Bananas are the loudest.
