Eagles Depth Tested as Injuries Pile Up Before London Trip

The Philadelphia Eagles are dealing with a growing list of injuries as they prepare to travel to London for their matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Several key players, including running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver DeVonta Smith, are now uncertain for the game, leaving the team scrambling to adjust its game plan.

Barkley has been a central piece of the Eagles offense this season, and his absence would put significant pressure on the running game. Smith, one of the team's most reliable targets in the passing attack, is also a major question mark. Losing both players at the same time would force the coaching staff to lean heavily on backups who have seen limited snaps this year.

The timing could not be worse. Playing overseas adds travel, time zone changes, and a disrupted routine to an already difficult week. The Jaguars, meanwhile, will be looking to take advantage of any weakness they see on film.

Philadelphia has built its success on roster depth, but that depth is about to face its toughest test yet. If the backups cannot step up, the Eagles could find themselves in a much closer fight than expected at Wembley Stadium.
