The Philadelphia Eagles have wrapped up their spring practices, and the roster picture for the 2026 season is starting to come into focus. While training camp battles will ultimately decide the final 53, the current depth chart offers some clear clues about where the team is headed.
At quarterback, Jalen Hurts remains the undisputed starter, with a veteran backup likely to stick. The running back room looks deep, with a mix of power and speed that should keep the ground game versatile. The offensive line, always a strength in Philly, appears to have solid starters across the board, though a few reserve spots are up for grabs after some offseason shuffling.
On defense, the secondary is the biggest question mark. The Eagles invested heavily in the defensive backfield during the draft, and several young corners and safeties have flashed in practice. The front seven, however, looks formidable. The defensive line rotation is loaded with pass rushers, and the linebacker corps has added some athleticism that was missing last year.
Special teams remain stable with the same kicker and punter returning. A few bubble players will need to show they can contribute on coverage units to earn a spot. this roster has the bones of a contender, but the final cuts will hinge on health and how quickly the rookies adapt to the NFL speed.
